Maggie’s Soapbox November

Last month’s Soapbox was the best yet and The Create Place was fit to bursting at the seams with audience members. If we carry on at this rate we’ll be moving into a larger venue at St. Margaret’s House by next year. The next event is in just 9 days time and we’re looking for more presenters to bring new topics and presentation styles to the table. If you’ve got an idea that you’d like to share, then why not share it at the Soapbox? Join the Facebook event here.

Maggie’s Soapbox October

September’s Soapbox was a rip-roaring success with a full audience in attendance who were treated to slide-show presentations on multiple topics including ‘How to give the perfect slide-show presentation’, ‘Why I’ll never grow up’, ‘About Bi-Polar’ and ‘The Bethnal Green Nature Tour’. Presentations ranged from the absurdly silly to informatively serious. Washed down with generous doses of beer and carrot cake, the evening couldn’t have been more fun if it had tried.

Next month’s event will be taking place on Thursday 25th October and we’re looking for new presenters. If you think you’d like to present then please e-mail your slideshow to thecreateplace@stmargaretshouse.org.uk to book your slot in the schedule. Join the Facebook event here.
